Continued Progress!

29 June 2015

They finished the final coat of mud on the drywall. I only snapped one picture of an area of concern because it looked so similar to the last set of pictures, and because it was about 150 degrees in the house:) We are hoping that things start moving fast to make up some days and get this project done!

It's starting to look more like a home in here!! We were hoping the texture was going to be done yesterday, but it got too hot in the house by the afternoon so they came this morning and put all the texture on. It looks pretty good except for a few globs from the ceiling that are now on the walls, but I'm sure they know what they are doing.

They also delivered doors and trim! They are the wrong doors and some of the wrong trim, but hey, nobody's perfect:)  The realtor said they could install the doors and then change them out with the right ones when they come.
detail of the Sun Valley Texture on the walls. We must have arrived right after they finished because it was still really wet.

This is the only picture from the 29th. You can see the mud is much more spread out and smooth.

Ceiling texture.

oops. They dropped globs from the ceiling, they must have been having a slinging party!

Devon's room. You can't see the texture very well in this pic. It was much more dry in this room.

more glops

woops...

woops again...

Here is the trim and wood for the shelving. The bunch in the corner and the pile on the left are the wrong trim. We are putting in contemporary trim and that is traditional. The closet rods and hand rail are against the wall.

Wrong!

"Yay, we have doors...wait, the wrong doors!" We ordered Saddlebrook doors, not six panel. I guess they both start with "s"

This is a saddlebrook door.
