We interrupt your home viewing to present...

OUR GRANDDAUGHTER!

We did go to the house on the 8 July, but the only thing happening was paint drying. On Thursday, 9 July 2015 I got a call at 6:30am from Kiah.  "Mom, I think my water just broke!" We started making arrangement to leave later that morning after our meeting with Hubble.

The house should be finished by now, but with the snag in the framing and the delays that caused it is not done yet. The way the whole thing has been handled has been a cause for distress so we scheduled a meeting with corporate and it just happened to be the day that Kiah decided to have Gwen. Our meeting was at 10am and Kiah wasn't really having contractions, so we decided to keep the meeting instead of putting it off longer and left for Rexburg right after is was over.

We arrived at the hospital about 4pm. Kiah had been on pitocin for about 2 hours. When they checked her at 4:30ish she was at a 4 and 90%. They let her go for a couple of hours. Kiah was a trooper and didn't have any meds, which is amazing because pit is horrible!!!! About 6:30, Kiah decided maybe a little something would be nice, so she got a dose of nubain. Immediately after that was given, she expressed a need to use the restroom. Little did she know, that urge was because she was complete and ready to push. She started pushing about 6:45 and Gwen Brielle Forester was born at 7:39pm.

It was wonderful to be with her and help her through. Josh was a great cheerleader, and was instrumental at keeping Kiah calm and relaxed. Grandma got to cut the chord and was right in the middle of the action! Yay!

Just a few minutes old here. What a proud Papa.

Cute little toes

That is the look a woman in love!

Oh my Godness..I just want to kiss those cheeks!

Getting ready to go home.

What a sweet family!

Hello world!

snoozing on the couch...

She loves to have her hair washed and combed. Just look at the contentment on that face.

She already knows the best part of a hair appointment is the wash!

We just had to see how little she would look in her big crib.
